Imposter Rev. Jimmy Emails
A reminder that email messages from fake accounts claiming to be The Rev. Jimmy Bartz are still circulating. Please do not respond or send money or gift card codes, just report it, block the sender, and delete it. Jimmy will only use his St. John’s email to contact you, will tell you in the email why he's reached out, and does not sign his email messages "Rev." or “Pastor”. You can verify phishing by the sender's email address.
Similar phishing attempts happen occasionally, but we don't believe they are due to security problems with our servers or systems. Cyber security and phishing is ever increasing. Please don’t open any attachments or links if anything looks suspicious or questionable. Mark them as spam and move along. We will never request this type of support over email.
