Welcome, Tess Taylor!

Tess Taylor, award-winning poet, essayist, community activist, gardener, and tender of backyard chickens is coming to Jackson, Wyoming this weekend for two days of conversation, storytelling, and wonder. You can catch her at three different events, from a sermon to the saloon to a conversation circle.

Tess Taylor will be the featured speaker for the Virginian Saloon, CAMPFIRE, (our monthly storytelling series and community) on Sunday, May 19, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Virginian Saloon for a conversation exploring ecological joy, in celebration of Leaning Toward Light: Poems for Gardens & the Hands that Tend Them, a new, acclaimed anthology of garden poetry edited by Taylor.

You can also catch Tess at St. John’s, on the 19th, as the guest preacher, and on the 20th as guest speaker at the Sacred Earth Conversations.

We are excited to host Taylor and contemplate the ways in which we are connected to the more-than-human world.
