!Welcome Father Rody + Bienvenido Padre Rody!

This Sunday, June 16, we have the immense honor of welcoming Father Rody Peréz Risco as our guest preacher at the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. services.

Fr. Rody is the head priest serving our partner parish of Santa Magdalena in Favorito, Cuba, as well as the nearby congregation of Itabo. A priest with extensive leadership experience serving in the Episcopal Church in Cuba, Fr. Rody has a passion for preaching and pastoral care. He and his wife, Adua, who is preparing to be ordained as a deacon, will be in Kentucky later this month as part of General Convention, the triennial legislative session of The Episcopal Church.

Fr. Rody will preach his sermon in Spanish, and Kathleen Guiterrez will serve as his interpreter. A native of Puerto Rico, Kathleen has visited Itabo / Favorito numerous times with teams from St. John's, and has taught for years at Munger Mountain Elementary School.
